Looking back to when I started my business in 2016, I can't help but think how much easier things would have been if website templates were as popular as they are now. I can’t even think of the countless hours working on my website, constantly adding elements, yet never achieving a cohesive theme or user-friendly experience. Despite all that effort, the result still looked amateurish.
At the time, hiring a professional for a custom website was out of the question. With prices ranging from $1,500 to $3,000+, it simply wasn't in my budget as a new business owner. I thought that was my only option.
But website templates are the perfect middle ground - professional-looking, cohesive designs at a fraction of the cost of custom development. They're a game-changer for solopreneurs who need a polished online presence without breaking the bank.
“But how easy ARE THEY TO edit, I’M NOT A WEB DESIGNER”?
Typically, they're incredibly easy to edit. Most have a drag-and-drop interface and intuitive design tools, you can customize your site without any coding knowledge. You can easily change colors, fonts, and layouts to match your brand, and add or remove sections as needed. This flexibility allows you to create a unique website that truly represents your business, all while maintaining a professional look.
And, if you need extra support or tech help, after purchase many designers offer access into a tech library to help you with quick tech tutorials to show you how to edit your template and get your site ready to launch. Make sure to read the FAQs section of each person’s template to know exactly what you’re getting before purchasing (since they are non-refundable).
